Ivy League Universities: Admission for Athletes
Your ticket into Ivy League universitiesis may be athletics, and IvyAthlete.com is your destination for all the information you need to fully understand the recruitment and admissions of athletes into these and other elite schools. For instance, Harvard admissions is, like all of the Ivies and many other elite colleges and universities, extremely selective regarding their admissions decisions. They won’t let someone in simply because of their grades and test scores. They need to have something else. While Ivies do not offer athletic scholarships for college, generous financial aid, such as grants, is often available at these schools. You’ll find that there is generally a floor on the GPAs and test scores that they’ll accept; however, that something else is your athletic prowess. If you can get a spot on one of these teams, then you’ve got a spot in the university guaranteed, and not only that, your acceptance may well come with generous financial aid. You’ll find all the information you need to stand apart from the crowd in the admissions process here at IvyAthlete.com and in our E-Books. From the strategic selection of football camps and other sports camps, to the culture of the Ivies, it’s all covered here.
“… athletes have an acceptance rate
to the Ivies at well over twice the
rate of other students...”
